Much like Ghostwriter Dad, Potty Training Power was started as a niche site. No matter how many niche sites I build during my online career, Potty Training Power will always be the first.
It was born from an original rhyme I wrote about a year ago called, “Number One and Two it!” After I met Blogger Dad, the two of us turned the tiny little tail into a wee-book. It sold so few copies, I think we actually owed e-junkie one. After we let it sit dormant for a couple of months, Cindy and I decided to revisit the copy and perhaps turn it into something special.
We realized that many parents share the fear of potty training and that perhaps we had something we could contribute. We wrote the book and Dave used his considerable blog design talents to build us a beautiful site.
Potty Training Power has since gone on to publish a new post ever week about, you guess it – the trials and tribulations of toilet training. Once a week parents can get potty training advice and toilet training tips either by going online direct to the website, or by subscribing to the (free) feed by RSS or email.
Potty Training Power is midway through its second version at which point we’ll launch a series of guest posts and a Twitter campaign. By the end of the year it should have page one ranking for a few of the major keyword searches. As I like to say at the end of each post around those parts…
