I’m hopping on board, and merging onto the list post highway. I’m shedding my distaste for the list post and have decided I’m going to not only write them, but write them with the awesome that has been sorely missing from all too many a list post.
Here’s my first SeanMPlatt.com list post. Tell me what you think:
I’m a writer, so here are the Next 5 List Posts I Plan on Writing
1) Collective Inkwell – 10 Ways to Increase Your Creativity. The Internet is so gassy with tips on creativity, it’s about to lay a fart you’re going be able to smell from Brisbane to Bakersfield. I’m going to write ten tips on creativity, minus the methane.
2) Ghostwriter Dad – 5 Reasons Why You Should Hire a Ghostwriter. Too many people try to do it all themselves. This is a mistake. By hiring a ghostwriter, the wise professional can concentrate on their projects and authority, while hiring someone who knows what they’re doing to string it all together. In this exciting list post, I plan to rove my point.
3) Write Dad – 10 Ways to be a Great Dad. Unfortunately, too many fathers suck. I don’t plan to change the world with this post, but I do plan to lay out two shy of a dozen reasons how any dad can pass go and collect $200. Or something like that.
4) Potty Training Power – 10 Terrific Tips to Toilet Train Your Toddler Today! This list post covers nearly identical ground as pretty much everything else I’ve written on the site, but ties it together in a super enthusiastic alliterative bow.
5) SeanMPlatt.com – Top 5 Mistakes I’ve Made Since Going Online. I could easily make this the top 50, but this is the one site where I let brevity wash me like a cool breeze.
